The brand dedicated their Twitter page to her memory and posted the message, "Talia Castellano was the meaning of a true COVERGIRL. Please join me in sending love and honouring her memory."
Talia gained fame through her Youtube channel, where she regularly posted intricate makeup tutorials and vlogs on her cancer story.
Her collaboration with CoverGirl came following an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, when she was surprised with the exciting news.
Ellen also took to Twitter to honour the young blogger, saying, "This year I met a very special girl, and today we lost her. Sending my heart to Talia's family. I'm so sad."
